Rokas Šakys:My name is Rokas „Rokadze“ Šakys , I am from Šiauliai, Lithuania… I work in Totemas tattoo studio in Siauliai, Onkel Henrys Tattoo Shop in Trondheim (Norway)…
BD: how long have you been tattooing?
RŠ:Working as a tattoo artist since 2000


BD: What is your favorite style of work?
RŠ:*I like New Traditional, Japanese, Polynesian style…
BD:What did your family and friends think about you getting into the tattoo business?
RŠ:They think, if I am happy, they are happy too
BD:What would you say is your favorite part of the job?
RŠ:My favorite part in the job is happy people and happy me…
BD: What is your favorite piece you own?
RŠ:I have got ’’open fracture’’ tattoo on my wrist made by Ernis tattoo from Lithuania…
BD: Is there a part of the body you won't Tattoo and why?
RŠ:I don’t mind to tattoo on every place of the body…
BD: Describe your ideal tattoo client. Ever had the pleasure of tattooing a client like this?
RŠ:I like happy face, smiling, good smelling, open-minded, not complaining customers…I am meeting them almost every day…

BD: Are there any artists out there you’d like to be tattooed by, space and time permitting of course?
RŠ:There is a lot of good tattoo artists in the world I would like to be tattooed by…
BD: Do you think it is important to do as many conventions and shows as possible?
RŠ:Conventions and shows are healthy for every artist, to show themselfs and learn from others…
BD: What would you recommend to someone wishing to get into the tattoo business?
RŠ:I wish them, patience, and not to forget the beginning is always this way…

Interview from Tattoo artist "Aivaras Lee"




Baby Dragon: what would you like everyone reading this interview to know about you?(who are you,where we can find you)?
Aivaras Lee:I'm Aivaras Lee, from Šiauliai, Lithuania. I work in Totemas tattoo studio, Šiauliai, Lithuania and in Kult Tattoo Fest studio, Krakow, Poland.
BD: how long have you been tattooing?
AL:Since 2009.
BD: What is your favorite style of work?
AL:Old school, Traditional.

BD:What did your family and friends think about you getting into the tattoo business?
AL:First it was 3rd world war, but now it's almost Heaven :):)
BD:What would you say is your favorite part of the job?
AL:Meeting new interesting people, havin good time and doing good Tattoos!
BD: What is your favorite piece you own?
AL:I can‘t say which is favorite, all of them are package of favorite, but the most spiritual session was tattoo on my cheeks.
BD: Is there a part of the body you won't Tattoo and why?
AL: It depends...
BD: Describe your ideal tattoo client. Ever had the pleasure of tattooing a client like this?
AL:Perfect customer is who knows what he wants and knows where he is coming.
BD: Are there any artists out there you’d like to be tattooed by, space and time permitting of course?
AL:There is alot of them, I got some already and will go for more!
BD: Do you think it is important to do as many conventions and shows as possible?
AL:Maybe not as many as you can, but it‘s important.
BD: What would you recommend to someone wishing to get into the tattoo business?
AL:''Work your fingers to the bones''.

Interview from Tattoo artist "Domantas Parvainis"

Baby Dragon: what would you like everyone reading this interview to know about you?(who are you,where we can find you)?
Domantas Parvainis:I'm Domantas Parvainis, from Šiauliai, Lithuania. I work in Totemas tattoo
BD: how long have you been tattooing?
DP:Around 3 years. Since 2010
BD: What is your favorite style of work?
DP:Realism, Surrealism.

BD:What did your family and friends think about you getting into the tattoo business?
DP:My family were a little bit skeptical in the very beginning, but soon enough they became happy for me.
BD:What would you say is your favorite part of the job?
DP:Giving my best and having fun.



BD: What is your favorite piece you own?
DP:All of my tattoos are my favorite, because they remind me of certain things and time.
BD: Is there a part of the body you won't Tattoo and why?
DP:Depends on a client and situation, but I don't know, hard to tell this swift:)
BD: Describe your ideal tattoo client. Ever had the pleasure of tattooing a client like this?
DP:Perfect client is a person who knows what he/she wants, but yet let me to interpretate and process the idea through my prism of perception. There is plenty of people like that, I wish everybody would aim for a tattoo, that is not a piece of jewelry, but peace of art.
BD: Are there any artists out there you’d like to be tattooed by, space and time permitting of course?
DP:Sure, there is plenty.
BD: Do you think it is important to do as many conventions and shows as possible?
DP: Sure thing, visiting and participating in conventions widens your mind and inspires you. Also, making new connections and friendships is always a good thing, so you don‘t stop.
BD: What would you recommend to someone wishing to get into the tattoo business?
DP:Try to enjoy it for real reasons and work a lot.

Interview from Tattoo artist "Darius Puodžiukas"

Darius Puodžiukas:  I'm Darius Puodžiukas, from Šiauliai, Lithuania. I work at Totemas tattoo studio
BD: how long have you been tattooing?
DP:Working since 2008
BD: What is your favorite style of work?
DP:My favourite style is japanese

BD:What did your family and friends think about you getting into the tattoo business?
DP:My family always got my back, as long as I got satisfaction from what i'm doing.
BD:What would you say is your favorite part of the job?
DP:Favourite part of my job is when people come to me knowing what kind of work I do, and let me do what I think is the best.
BD: What is your favorite piece you own?
DP:My favourite piece I have is hanya mask on my forearm.
BD: Is there a part of the body you won't Tattoo and why?
DP: I wouldn't tattoo on a penis,just because :):)
BD: Describe your ideal tattoo client. Ever had the pleasure of tattooing a client like this?
DP: Like I said before, a perfect client is the one who is familiar with the tattoo world, and doesn't get tattoos for the fashion. It's much easier to talk to them and do some amazing artwork.
BD: Are there any artists out there you’d like to be tattooed by, space and time permitting of course?
DP:Jeff Gogue, Shige, Johan Finne and so on.. Mostly artists that do japanese
BD: Do you think it is important to do as many conventions and shows as possible?
DP:Yes, it's very important to meet other artist, see how they progress and just make new connections+ have loads of fun while doing it :):)
BD: What would you recommend to someone wishing to get into the tattoo business?
DP:Work your ass off day and night! World has too much "tattoo artists" who do it for wrong reasons..
